Το Black Cat είναι το πρώτο κομμάτι που κυκλοφόρησαν οι Ladytron από το καινούριο τους άλμπουμ Velocifero που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 3 Ιουνίου. To Black Cat το διαθέτουν δωρεάν απὀ τις 27-3 μέσα από την ιστοσελίδα τους εδώ.

Music Olympics For Tibet

Πολύ καυτός αναμένεται ο φετινός μουσικός Αύγουστος για την Αθήνα μετά την ανακοίνωση της μουσικής Ολυμπιάδας στο Ολυμπιακό Στάδιο που θα γίνει μεταξύ 8 και 24 Αυγούστου, παράλληλα δηλαδή με τους Ολυμπιακούς του Πεκίνου. Η ανακοίνωση έγινε από το μέλος της οργανωτικής επιτροπής John Lihar σε συνέντευξη τύπου που διοργανώθηκε στο Παρίσι.
Η εκδήλωση γίνεται για στήριξη των αιτημάτων των κατοίκων του Θιβέτ για σεβασμό των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων των κατοίκων της περιοχής. Θα αποτελέσει συνέχεια της Θιβετιανής Ολυμπιάδας που θα γίνει στην Ινδία μεταξύ 15 και 25 Μαΐου. Για την Θιβετιανή Ολυμπιάδα είναι σε εξέλιξη διαγωνισμός σχετικός με τον ύμνο της. Πληροφορίες εδώ.
Ανάμεσα στα ονόματα που έχουν ήδη δηλώσει συμμετοχή για τις συναυλίες της Αθήνας που θ είναι καθημερινές βρίσκονται οι U2, Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Melissa Etheridge, Sinead O'Connor, Papa Roach, British Sea Power, Nora Jones, White Stripes, ενώ αναμένετι η επισημοποιήση της συμμετοχής πολλών ακόμα ηχηρών ονομάτων. Τις εκδηλώσεις θα κλείσουν οι Led Jeppelin οι οποίοι θα επιστρέψουν και θα ανεβούν για μια ακόμα φορά στη σκηνή μετά την εμφάνισή τους τον περασμένο Δεκέμβριο στο Λονδίνο. Η εμφάνιση των Led Jeppelin θα γίνει την ώρα ακριβώς της τελετής λήξεως στο Πεκίνο.
