Foo Fighters - Saint Cecilia

There aint no secrets anymore
my names been hanging on the hook outside your door
just an old eyesore.

I got this feeling i cant keep it down anymore
bring me some healing saint cecilia carry me home
to your house of broken bones

You're out of sight, im out of mind
id (lets?) sit and watch your pictures dryin' on the line
just a thing of mine

I got this feeling i cant keep it down anymore
bring me some healing saint cecilia carry me home
to your house of broken bones

I know i know no matter what i say
days will come and go
no matter what i say
nothings set in stone
no matter what i say
days go by
(x2)

I got this feeling i cant keep it down anymore
bring me some healing saint cecilia carry me home
to your house of broken bones

I know i know no matter what i say
days will come and go
no matter what i say
nothings set in stone
no matter what i say
days go by

I know i know no matter what i say (saint cecilia)

We crept from the room
The moonlight spilled down the hall
And I tiptoed with you
Then we climbed out the window
And there in the yard
Our nightclothes blowing in the breeze
And you looked up at the sky
And said the moon would be ours

And all this time I hear those words like bombs in the distance
And oh my mind, I can still smell the rain in the air

But time's gone by
And I'm not the kid I was on that evening
And somewhere inside
I hope you still see me just the way I was before I walked away

Mud on your dress
Blood stains on the knees of my pants
And we went in search of the moon
'cause you said that you knew where it slept in the day
So we gathered up our tools:
A sling-shot in case it ran for the sky
And a blanket from your room, the one with no holes
So we could drag it all the way back home

And you said when we got it back
We would cut it in two
And we'd wear the hide so magnificent
And then I could control time for you
And I still hear the way that you laughed
When you found I believed you
And I could still feel you pull on my arm
When I was too afraid to go

And all this time I hear those words like bombs in the distance
And my, oh my, I can still smell the dirt on our hands

'cause in my head
You're still alive, you're still alive
And I know that it's a lie
But it's one I like, it's one I like

The Veils – Through The Deep, Dark Wood

Το πρώτο σινγκλ Through The Deep, Dark Wood από το νέο άλμπουμ τους  Time Stays, We Go   διαθέτουν δωρεάν οι "The Veils", από την επίσημη σελίδα τους εδώ.

Well she said, baby,
Come on and take my hand
You know that lately
You've been my only man

And all that I wanted
Is for you to see
Come on now, my love
And take a walk with me

Through the deep, dark wood
Through the deep, dark
Through the deep, dark wood

Love, lay your hand upon my chest
So I can't go back
No, this love ain't like the rest
No, I can't go back
Now there's no more to love than this
No, I can't go back
Back
Back

Well she said, baby,
I feel you coming up
We spend a lifetime
Getting our lover wrong
She said, there's no need
Come on, it won't take long
The dreams are strange but good

Through the deep, dark
Through the deep, dark wood

Love, lay your hand upon my chest
So I can't go back
No, this love ain't like the rest
No, I can't go back
Now there's no more to love than this
No, I can't go back
Back
Back

No, I can't go back
Back

Mescaleros - Gettysburg

Lost her behind the station
Lost her behind the moon
Operator, operator, dial her back
Operator put me through
Ahuuuh, Satellite gave up the ghost too soon
Rising on the thermals
She calling in and out the blue
Ahuuuh, carried her off on a silver spoon
I loved her too long, don't take her too
Oooohhh ohhhhhhh
Oh how he crossed us on that fate your path in my own satellite
What a mess a little time makes to us when time and place collide
Operator, operator, dial her back
Operator, operator, don't take her too.
I loved her too her long, don't love her too
Operator, operator, dial her back
Operator, operator, don't take her too
I love her too her long, don't love her too, don't love her too
Oooohhh ohhhhhhh...

Something in your eyes told me to stay
Something in your touch electrified me
Completing me in every single way
Now I realize as I look in your eyes
This must be love
Baby try to understand my heart is your hand
Chorus
Love will set you free
Love will set you free
You can trust in me
My love will set you free
Set you free
Every time I think about you baby
Every time I see your smiling face
Every time I feel your loving arms
Around anekatips me guilty pleasures
Take up all my time & space

Now I realize as I look in your eyes
This must be love
Baby try to understand my heart is in your hand
Chorus
Love will set you free
Love will set you free
You can trust in me
My love will set you free
Set you free
Set you free, set you free!

Birds OF Passage - My Own Mind / Yesterdays Stains

Για μια ηλιόλουστη νύχτα προσεύχεται  η προερχόμενη από τη Νέα Ζηλανδία Alicia Merz σε ένα από τα κομμάτια του παρθενικού άλμπουμ του πρότζεκτ της Birds OF Passage, που έχει τίτλο Without The World,  αλλά και η ίδια μπορεί να ζεστάνει με τη φωνή και τη μουσική της ακόμα και την πιο μαύρη χειμωνιάτικη νύχτα. Παρά το γεγονός ότι όλα τα κομμάτια του άλμπουμ κινούνται σε χαμηλούς υπνωτικούς τόνους το Without The World παραμένει ενδιαφέρον από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος του.
Τρία από τα κομμάτια του   (Scarlet monkeys, The Patterns on Your Face, My Own Mind) μπορείτε να κατεβάσετε δωρεάν από εδώ.

* To Yesterdays Stains δε βρίσκεται στο Without The World

Pallas - Falling Down

Το Falling Down ανοίγει το νέο άλμπουμ των  Pallas  που έχει τίτλο XXV. Ένα bonus track  του άλμπουμ (Atlantean) δίνουν δωρεάν εδώ.

Domes of crystal spires of light reach out
We’re aspirational creatures there’s no doubt
Living in our brutal cities, nurture an inhuman race
Perish the weak, only the strong will last the pace
The sick and hungry all cry out
But nobody cares to hear them shout..

Our world is falling down
Spinning round
Falling down…
We're out of control we’re falling down
Spinning round falling down….

Smack a child and hope that it will learn
Close your minds again, and we will burn
Arrogance can make us crazy, science is a blinding light
Open your eyes listen to your heart to know what’s right
The dark dictators parade their might
Listen to your heart to know what’s right

Our world is falling down
Spinning round
Falling down…
We're out of control we’re falling down
Spinning round falling down….

Now the lunatics rise again

why did we have to part my love?
why couldn't life just stay the same?
it was over and i didn't know it
living without you feels so strange

i remember the night when we met each other
it was a very long time ago
we both have changed for the better
we are so much kinder now, i know

why did we have to part my love?
why couldn't life just stay the same?
it was over and i didn't know it
living without you feels so strange

the night you said you loved another
i simply could not take it in
what would i do without your love?
so cold and lonely it became

why did we have to part my love?
why couldn't life just stay the same?
it was over and i didn't know it
living without you feels so strange

we are very good friends, my love
we have passed the wall of hate
but you know
i'll never come back again

why did we have to part my love?
why couldn't life just stay the same?
it was over and i didn't know it
living without you feels so strange

why did we have to part my love?
why couldn't life just stay the same?
it was over and i didn't know it
living without you feels so strange

why did we have to part my love?
why couldn't life just stay the same?
it was over and i didn't know it
living without you feels so strange

Blonde Redhead - Not Getting There

You already know this won't end with kisses
You already see you won't spare one another

But we'll have fine time not getting there
But we'll have fine time not getting there

It's easy on the ear but it's hard on you
You are no exception you won't end in the castle

But we'll have fine time not getting there
But we'll have fine time not getting there
But we'll have fine time not getting there
But we'll have fine time not getting there
But we'll have fine time
But we'll have fine time not getting there

Helicopter

Take my hand and pray with me
My final days in company
The devil now has come for me
And helicopters circling the scene

And I pray for us
Would you pray for us
Nobody loves you the best
We know he loves you the best

Tired of my pain
I'm tired of my pain oh

No one cares for me
I keep no company
I have minimal needs
And now they are through with me

No one cares for me
I have minimal needs
I keep no company
And now they are through with me
Now they are through with me
Now they are through with me
Now they are through with me
 Revival

I am saved, unscated
And, would you believe me?
On the third day
I felt his presence near me
I know they won't believe me, but
I've got favorite memories
I am saved, i'm saved
And, could you believe it?
You won't regret
If you choose to believe it
Freedom, silence, always

All these darkened hallways

Oh!

Darkness, always it doesn't make much sense
Darkened hallways away from me, darling

Stay...

She's got a life living in her heart
She's got these eyes, well, where do I start
Like looking at the deep night sky
So many worlds inside her eyes

She's a spectacular girl

Part of the job of being her man
Is knowing when to let go of her hand
Her kind of power, it can't be reigned in
To hold her back would be a sin

She's a spectacular girl

She sees the beauty in the things we all miss
All good things are defined by her kiss
If you're feeling like you can't believe
Well then how do you explain the miracle I see

She's a spectacular girl
Spectacular girl

Not a desire and not a need
Some things just happen cos they have to be
I'm gonna get there, I'm telling you sir
I'm a man on a mission and I'm all about her

She's a spectacular girl
Spectacular girl
Ah yeah
My love
