Στο νέο του άλμπουμ Scratch My Back που πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 15 Φεβρουαρίου ο Peter Gabriel και αποτελείται από διασκευές συμπεριλαμβάνει και το Heroes του David Bowie.
Το τραγούδι πρόσφερε στην οργάνωση Music for Relief ώστε να συγκεντρωθούν χρήματα για τα θύματα του σεισμού στην Αϊτή.
