Το Fade Like A Shadow  είναι πρώτο σινγκλ του τρίτου στούντιο άλμπουμ της  KT Tunstall που κυκλοφορεί από τις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου και έχει τίτλο Tiger Suit. Τους στίχους σε όλα τα κομμάτια έχει γράψει η ίδια όπως και το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της μουσικής. Ένα από τα κομμάτια (Madame Trudeaux) το έχει γράψει μαζί με την Linda Perry. Το τραγούδι προφανέστατα αναφέρεται στην πρώτη σύζυγο του Pierre Trudeaux, που ήταν πρωθυπουργός του Καναδά τη δεκαετία του 70, η οποία του ζήτησε (και πήρε διαζύγιο τελικά το 1984), γιατί ρίχνοντας όλο το βάρος στην πολιτική παραμελούσε την οικογενειακή ζωή (γινόταν πολύς λόγος εκείνη την εποχή για τη σχέση της με το Mick Jagger).
