Μια συλλογή που περιέχει τα σέσιον από το Darkness on the Edge of Town   κυκλοφόρησε στις 16 Νοεμβρίου ο  Bruce Springsteen. Η συλλογή κυκλοφορεί σε μορφή διπλού cd με τίτλο The Promise και σε μορφή box set με το όνομα "The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story". Οι κριτικές για την κυκλοφορία ήταν, απολύτως δικαιολογημένα, σε συντριπτικό βαθμό θετικές .
