The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die - Marine Tigers
Από το νέο άλμπουμ των The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Always Foreign, που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 29 Σεπτεμβρίου.
You walk around the old neighbourhood
But your heart’s not in it
Nonchantly pointing out the coffee shop
You made your plans in
The jobs you have to do there
You walk around the new neighbourhood
But your heart’s not in it
To learn any more about this country
The apartment you have to live in
They decided that we didn’t fit the records that they hold
And we created more
Following the hours ending
You know we have to leave the building
You know we have to leave all the doors unlocked
We know we will not be the last
We know that they have got a plan too
A car for us to drive in
A box for us to die in
A vote for us to write in
An app we all confide in
Making money is horrible
A rotten institution
We’re here
We’re here
I told you so
I told you so
We’re here
We’re here
I told you so
I told you so
Like oil in an ocean
Like we loved that poison
Please remember as a person
It’s the land that’s always foreign
Can you still call it a country?
If all the states are broken
Can you still call it a business?
If all you do is steal
Can you live our marine tigers?
All the boulder rain was made for
We huff and puff but nothing ever comes
There’s nothing wrong with Josѐ
There’s nothing wrong with Moses
There’s nothing wrong with kindness
There’s nothing wrong with knowing
We’re here
I told you so
We’re here
I told you so
We’re here
I told you so
We’re here
I told you so
Anthrax - In The End
Βίντεο για το αφιερωμένο στη μνήμη των Ronnie James Dio και Dimebag Darrell, In The End κυκλοφόρησαν στις 20 Αυγούστου (συμπίπτει με τη μερα που θα γιόρταζε τα 51α γενέθλιά του ο δεύτερος) οι Anthrax.
Το κομμάτι βρισκόταν στο άλμπουμ τους Worship Music (2011).
Our star was out tonight
Our diamond shined so bright
I watched it go
Farther than he ever dreamed
I can't take it
No matter how I try
I can't stop asking why
'Cause something's broken
Scared it breaks my heart
I won't take it, can't break it
In the end
I'm pounding on the door
But It's already over
Too little, too late
In the end
He'll be my light in the dark
For when the sun goes down
When the sun goes down on me
And when the greatest falls
Heaven and Hell will call
Stand up and fight
On and on his memory screams
I can't take it
Stand up and fight withal
I won't take it, I can't break it
In the end
I'm pounding on the door
But It's already over
Too little, too late
In the end
They'll be my light in the dark
For when the sun goes down
For when the sun goes down
In the end
I'm kicking down the door
And I'm taking this over
I'm cleaning the slate
In the end
They'll be my light in the dark
For when the sun goes down
When the sun goes down on me
Did I thank you, for our time together?
Did I thank you, for making me better?
Did I thank you, for being the one I would
Bleed and kill for?
Did I thank you for tearing my head off?
Ripping my heart out
Fucking my world
Do we tell you how much we loved you?
Do we tell you you made our dreams come true?
Do we tell you you were the one?
Paving our way, the damage is done
Did we thank you for tearing our head off?
Ripping our hearts out
Fucking our world!
I can't break it
In the end
I'm pounding on the door
But It's already over
Too little, too late
In the end
He'll be my light in the dark
When the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
In the end
I'm pounding on the door
But It's already over
Too little, too late
In the end
He'll be my light in the dark
For when the sun goes down
When the sun goes down on me
